Make tuis fly across 15 monitors

Consent is sexy

Who'd like to chain together 10-15 monitors in a row and display some kind of gorgeous native-bush wilderness panorama splashed across the lot, with birds and other wildlife critters swooping and scurrying from one to another to another, in a big arc around the room?

I would. That'd be fab. Right now I'm working at Secret Secret Club, https://www.secretsecretclub.com/, a Wellington coworking space. I'd been chatting recently with its owner, Scout, about a massive pile of second-hand 1080p monitors he'd just received. I got thinking. Could a chap not plug the whole lot into a single machine, and display snazzy art pieces or suchlike?

A bit of googling produced https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heB94f6FHd8. That's Step One sorted, or at least researched. Step Two: what could we display? Scout and I batted ideas back and forth and soon decided it'd be neat to show, for instance, that wilderness-bird-swoop panorama. We googled "animated desktop birds", read the results, experienced crippling disappointment ... then I started googling multi-monitor web apps. Turns out you can totally do this. I reckon I could build one myself. The toughest bit would be displaying convincing wildlife. But it's possible. Just picture a flock of tui fluttering across that entire horizontal monitor row, left to right, metre after metre, in all their HD glory, how rad is that?

Mind you, I'd have to find yet more time to code this up, alongside my other gazillion fascinating pet projects. Aah. Seriously, why does the world contain so much interestingness? There are only so many hours in the day to pursue this crap.
