Why not betray a third of a Jesus? Since I was a kid, I'd always wondered if there was some kind of link between pound-the-weight-unit, and pound-sterling-the-currency. Turns out there is! The link is that the original definition and original value of the UK currency, the Pound, is that it was the monetary value of one pound-weight - of silver.
You wish to gain ten pounds, both in weight and in silver, in a bit of style? Why not bring about the Second Coming of Christ, then immediately partially betray him?
